HOW TO PREPARE FRIED LIVER THE KENYAN STYLE

This recipe will turn liver haters into converts. Very simple! The three things that will set your liver above all others are: 1) soak in milk, 2)turn liver as little as possible and 3) don't overcook!

FRIED LIVER RECIPE


Ingredients.

➥¹/₂ kg liver
➥3 cups milk
➥4 cloves garlic
➥1 pc ginger
➥¹/₂ tea spoon rasam powder
➥¹/₄ tea spoon curry powder
➥3 pieces tomatoes
➥2 pieces onions
➥2 blocks beef cubes.
➥2 pieces green chili
➥¹/₄ tea spoon mixed herbs.
➥1 tea spoon butter

METHOD


Soak the liver in milk for 1 hr, this process softens the lives, after that disregard the milk, In a pan melt the butter and fry the liver until brown.Remove and fry the onion, garlic until tender. Gradually add tomato, cubes , tomato paste, rasam powder, curry powder, chili n mixed herbs. Then add the liver in stir well, cover and let it cook for 15 minutes, adjust the seasoning.
