YUMMY AND SOFT MANDAZI RECIPE

Mandazi is a slightly sweet East African doughnuts fried to perfection; spicy, airy yeast doughnut dough made with milk.
MANDAZI

Ingredients.
↬2 cups wheat flour
↬1 egg
↬¹/₂ cup sugar
↬2 tablespoon melted butter
↬2 teaspoon baking powder or yeast
↬2 ¹/₂ cups water or milk

METHOD OF PREPARATION
Bring all the ingredients to a room temperature. Mix all the ingredients together adding flour and start kneading. The dough should be soft but NOT sticky. Roll the dough on a lightly floured surface n cut into square or to your desired shape and fry in a hot oil until all sides are golden brown.
